POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the YMCA of the Rockies, Snow Mountain Ranch, which operates a mission-based family and group conference and retreat center, serving more than 175,000 guests annually. The Conference Setup and Services Team Member is primarily responsible for impeccable guest service to conference groups through precise set-ups for 70+ meeting room/event spaces. A Janitorial Team Member is primarily responsible for cleanliness and appearance of public spaces including but not limited to public bathrooms, lobbies, hallways and stairwells and entryways in all facilities. The Janitorial Team Member is also responsible for timely delivery of functional and clean guest amenities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Exhibit superior guest service abilities through clear, professional and friendly interactions with
all guests and staff
Execute conference set-up orders accurately and in a time-sensitive manner and providing
exceptional service to conference groups throughout their stay
Responds to radio calls requesting delivery of items to guests in their lodge rooms and cabins.
Maintain the cleanliness of meeting room/event spaces along with all restrooms associated with
those spaces
Possess stamina to work in the work environment described herein.
Possesses Physical stamina for strenuous work load with the ability to lift chairs, tables, and
stage pieces. Have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and get in & out of trucks frequently
throughout the day
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work cooperatively with others in a diverse environment
Be self-motivated and take pride in a job well done
Possess a valid, USA state-issued drivers license, an acceptable driving record, and comply
with YMCA driving rules to be approved to operate YMCA vehicles.
AM and PM shifts required
Responds to carpet cleaning, biohazard clean up, public fixture repair and replacement, and
water extraction needs that arise
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous conference/ banquet experience a plus but not required
Possess a valid, USA state-issued drivers license, an acceptable driving record, and
comply with YMCA driving rules to be approved to operate YMCA vehicles
Provide office reception as needed, including radio dispatch and interdepartmental
communication via phone, radio, and email
One year of experience in the hospitality industry or facilities maintenance

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an
employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Be able to lift, carry, and set up tables, various objects including but not limited to, tables,
chairs, and stage
Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, vacuum, walk and scrub using a variety of cleaning chemicals.
The employee needs sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions and
to perform activities in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor locations.
The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must possess physical stamina to walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the
work day
Must possess physical stamina to work in warm/hot environment throughout the workday
Must be able to work effectively in a noisy and fast paced environment
