Position Summary:

Delivery Driver is responsible for all catering and refreshment deliveries including cookouts. This includes having excellent customer service. Other duties include relevant dining room and vehicle cleanliness, labeling of all food items, customer service, operating POS and ensuring all delivery equipment and cookout space is clean, organized and functioning properly.

Essential Functions / Requirements:

  1. Possess a valid, USA state issued driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and comply with YMCA driving rules to be approved to operate YMCA vehicles.
  2. Read designated reports and deliver accurate orders.
  3. Works autonomously to prepare for, serve, and clean up after a cookout
  4. Must follow written and oral instructions given in English.
  5. Must work holidays, weekends, and morning or evening shifts.
  6. Must work eight hour shifts on concrete floors and lift 40 pounds up to 36 inch high tables.
  7. Must maintain a neat, clean appearance and wear clothing deemed appropriate by the Food Service Manager.
  8. Execute cold food preparation and presentation for deliveries and catering.
  9. Assure that standards for set up and cleanliness standards are being met in assigned dining rooms.
  10. Support the Association safety program. Promote safe work practices and a safe environment for guests, members and staff.
  11. Uphold the YMCA of the Rockies Mission, policies and programs.
  12. Uphold and reflect the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Faith in all functions.
  13. Promote a cooperative, positive and problem-solving atmosphere at all times.
  14. Ability to work cooperatively with others in a diverse environment.

UNIFORM:

Two uniform polo shirts will be provided for you. You need to provide/wear your own comfortable, closed-toe shoes and black pants. Sweatpants or yoga type pants will not be permitted.

COMPENSATION:

This is a seasonal, hourly (based on 40 hours/week) position, paying $220/week, with employee perks including:

  • Room (shared room in our staff dormitory with free wifi and no bills!)

DRUG/ALCOHOL POLICY:

We have a zero tolerance policy for alcohol or drugs on property; in addition, no drug use is tolerated (including marijuana) during your employment with us whether on- or off-duty.

REFERENCES:

You must submit three references with your application, including their name, phone number and email address.

Two references must be someone who know you professionally (former or current manager, supervisor, teacher, professor, coach, pastor, etc.) and one reference must be a family member.

If you are a rehire and have worked at YMCA of the Rockies Estes Park Center, Snow Mountain Ranch, or Camp Chief Ouray at any time during the past three years, references are not required.
