POSITION SUMMARY: The Family Programs Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting in the administrative tasks of Family Programs, including guest and group communications, activity registrations, and management of the family programs team. The administrative assistant will also be able to facilitate any program and assist at the program desk as needed.

What We Offer

Essential Functions / Requirements:

  • Compile, edit, produce and distribute the weekly activity guide as needed
  • Assist with the management of family and family reunion registration for programs including online sign up, private group bookings, waivers and paperwork required for activities, confirmations and payments
  • Assist in the organization and management of the Sweet Memorial Program Building and staff, including assisting in scheduling, training, inventory management and purchasing
  • Provide administrative support for themed programming and special events
  • Facilitate orientations, family fun nights and all other family programs as needed
  • Communicate with all guests in a mature, responsible fashion
  • Use computer system to assist guests in signing up for activities, check out equipment, and check participant rosters
  • Participate in daily cleaning of program buildings
  • All other duties as assigned, including working in other departments

Other Functions / Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be fluent in speaking English
  • Must possess current Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR/AED certifications
