Position Summary:

This position supports the work of the YMCA of the Rockies, which operates a mission-based family and group conference and retreat center, serving more than 225,000 annually. The Inventory manager is responsible for ordering the food and Supplies for the Food Service Dept. This includes receiving & stocking the dry storage, produce coolers, dairy coolers and freezers in the EPC main kitchen, and food service operation.

What We Offer


  • Oversee all aspects of food ordering, storage, and inventory.
  • Assist Food Service Director and Executive Chef with ordering food products, equipment and supplies using different ordering systems.
  • Maintain and rotate stock in all freezers, coolers and dry storage areas.
  • Maintain current sanitation standards and temperature logs per Colorado Health regulations.
  • Have excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Be fluent in written and oral English.
  • Carrying large objects, stooping, kneeling and bending
  • Able to work eight-hour shifts on concrete floors and lift up to 70 pounds
  • Maintain a neat, clean, professional appearance and presentation.
  • Have basic computer skills for inventory purposes.


  • Two years experience in inventory a management role preferably in a food service operation.
  • ServSafe Certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Assist with Sack lunch & Gift Basket inventories and preparation.
  • Assist with Cookout deliveries and inventories.
  • Complete Month and Year end COGS Inventories.

  • Must meet acceptable criminal background check standards.
