Housekeeping Linen Van Driver
Estes Park Center – Estes Park, COSalary Range: $17.00 - $18.50
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park Center, which operates a mission-based family and group conference and retreat center, serving more than 150,000 guests annually. The Laundry Driver is primarily responsible for delivery of clean linens for use in lodges and reunion cabins as well as pick-ups of dirty linens for transport to the industrial laundry building for processing. The Laundry Driver is also responsible for delivery of supplies to Housekeeping storage rooms, organization and inventory of Housekeeping storage rooms, and assisting inside of the industrial laundry when necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Possess a valid, USA state-issued driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and comply with YMCA driving rules to be approved to operate YMCA vehicles
- Possess stamina to work in the work environment described herein
- Bilingual skills preferred
- Drives YMCA box truck and ensures that it is properly maintained and operated safely
- Conducts inventories of Housekeeping storage rooms, restocks and organizes as needed
- Transports linens to and from Lodges and Reunion cabins as needed
- Follows safe practices and procedures for handling chemicals, biohazards, and machinery
- Reports to Laundry Manager on daily accomplishments
- Sorts, carries, folds, stacks laundry; loads and empties washers and driers
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience operating a box truck
- One year of experience in the hospitality industry

- Must possess physical stamina to walk and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel repeatedly throughout the workday
- Must possess physical stamina to work in warm/hot environment throughout the workday
- Must possess physical strength to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the workday
- Must be able to work effectively in a noisy and fast paced environment
- Must be able to work AM and PM shifts
