Position Summary: Works at recreational facilities and other program functions including: Kiva, mini-golf course, mountain bike rental, program building, snowshoe hikes, climbing wall, etc.
Essential Functions / Requirements:
Certified CPR and 1st Aid; certifications must be current.
Demonstrate the ability to fluently read, write and speak English.
Have the ability to respond to problems, concerns and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
Must have outstanding telephone skills
Register guests for activities using computer based system
Previous experience working with people in the service, recreation or teaching areas.
Able to stand for an 8 hour shift on hard floors.
Clean facilities; able to use a variety of cleaning chemicals.
Be willing to work as an attendant for recreation facilities or programs including Kiva, mini-golf course, mountain bike rental, program building, snowshoe hikes, climbing wall, etc. on an as needed basis
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Other Functions / Requirements:
Maintain and set-up of recreation facilities if used as a meeting space.
Supervise guests within the facilities for which you are responsible.
Able to work with people of all ages.
Operate telephone, climbing wall equipment and cleaning equipment.
Make change and balance cash box.
All other duties as assigned.

This is a seasonal, $12.00 hourly (based on 40 hours/week) position including:
Room/Board payroll deduction at $34.00/day
Room (room in our staff dormitory with wifi, pay laundry facilities)
Board (3 meals per day, 7 days per week)

ABOUT THE YMCA OF THE ROCKIES:
The YMCA of the Rockies operates two year-round family resorts and conference centers on each side of Rocky Mountain National Park: Estes Park Center located in Estes Park, CO; Snow Mountain Ranch located in Winter Park, CO; and Camp Chief Ouray, a summer resident camp for kids located on the Snow Mountain Ranch property.
