Job Title: Program Desk Attendant - Seasonal                  Status: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Associate Program Director    
       
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Program Desk Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests and members at the Sweet Memorial Program Building. Daily responsibilities of Program Desk Attendants include opening and closing the building; managing our online sign up system; being knowledgeable on and sharing information about our Programs, our Association, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the local area; and promoting current and future activities and offerings across the Y.

Estes Park Center and Snow Mountain Ranch Required Position Dates: August 2, 2021-November 13, 2021

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
*     Use computer and phone systems to assist guests in signing up for activities, check out equipment, and run daily reports
*     Communicate with all guests in a mature, responsible fashion
*     Make change and balance cash boxes
*     Facilitate family programs as needed
*     Remain flexible and positive in a fast-paced work environment
*     Predict, prevent, identify and respond to safety issues
*     Participate in daily cleaning of program buildings
*     All other duties as assigned, including working in other departments

SNOW MOUNTAIN RANCH SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
*     Assist in other activity areas like roller skating rink, archery, and summer tubing hill as needed

ESTES PARK CENTER SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
*     Responsible for stocking and selling merchandise

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
*     Must be at least 18 years old
*     Must possess current Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR/AED certifications 
*     Preference given to candidates who are fluent in both English and Spanish

This is a seasonal position with a base pay rate of $12.32/hour (based on 40 hours/week). This position includes:
