Looking for a job in the outdoor recreation industry? Our Programs Department is hiring for a variety of positions. All jobs include training for Adult & Pediatric First Aid and CPR/AED certifications, as well as great employee perks like free golf, skiing, and gear rentals. This is a great position for someone who enjoys connecting people to the outdoors. Whether you’re a novice in the recreation industry or an expert, we have a position for you.

Internships

Grow your professional skills in the Rocky Mountains! We offer internships at both of our centers; Estes Park Center and Snow Mountain Ranch. In addition, almost all of our seasonal jobs can be tailored to become an internship. Some of our departments include programs, guest services, buildings & grounds, philanthropy, media/videography, conference services, museum/cultural heritage, accounting, human resources, and ministry. Interns receive on-the-job training and opportunities to network with people from all around the world On-site lodging and meals are available to all interns and seasonal employees. Hassle-Free Living

YMCA of the Rockies seasonal employees live on-grounds for a base-fee per week. No credit check or rental agreement required. This includes:

  • Housing in dormitory style rooms
  • Utilities (electric, heat, water)
  • Internet
  • Laundry
  • Cleaning supplies and vacuums
  • Housing lobbies with refrigerators, microwaves, Keurig’s, large screen TV’s, and cable
  • 3 buffet style meals daily – option to eat-in dining room or take meals to-go.
  • Access to all YMCA of the Rockies facilities, free gear rentals, free or discounted tickets to local attractions, and the ability to sign-up for ski passes, indoor climbing, or golf.

How do I apply for a job?
Search our current opportunities and complete our online application (please include your resume if you have one). What is the standard seasonal wage?
All seasonal employees are paid a base wage of $12.56/hour.
What housing is provided?
We offer room and board to those who are interested in living on-grounds during their employment with us. This option includes onsite lodging, three meals a day, all utilities, uniforms, laundry facilities, internet, and an abundance of employee perks. Room and board charges are taken as a payroll deduction every other Friday. Some employee perks include access to all YMCA of the Rockies facilities, free and discounted gear rentals, and the opportunity to live right next to Rocky Mountain National Park.

If seasonal staff elect to live off-grounds, they will be in charge of finding their own housing.
What is the Appreciation Fund?
The YMCA of the Rockies Appreciation Fund is a fund consisting of tips given by guests throughout the year. Three times a year, the fund is pooled together and distributed evenly to eligible YMCA of the Rockies staff who did not break their work agreements.

  • Access to all YMCA of the Rockies facilities which includes: An indoor pool, fitness track, basketball gymnasium, fitness classes, tennis courts, mini-golf, hiking and biking trails, roller rink, library, craft & design center, climbing wall, bonfire rings, ping pong and pool tables, baseball field, 18-hole disc golf course, summer concert series, and pond for fishing and ice skating.
Snow Mountain Ranch:
