Job Title: Staff Services Associate                  Status: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Center Services Manager    

POSITION SUMMARY: 
Staff Services Associate will work under the direction of the Center Services Manager in cooperation with the Human Resources Department to ensure that staff lodging is cleaned and prepared for new staff check-ins. This position will also be responsible for daily cleaning and disinfecting of shared staff bathrooms/showers and common gathering areas, and the Human Resources offices, lobby and restroom. When these duties have been completed, the Staff Services Associate will assist in Center Services or Housekeeping as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
*     Ensure staff housing is clean and ready for new staff checking in.
*     Clean staff rooms when staff checkout at the end of their contract.
*     Daily cleaning of shared staff bathrooms/showers and staff lodging hallways.
*     Daily cleaning of Human Resources offices, lobby and restroom. 
*     Restock housekeeping supplies used and stored for purposes of cleaning staff lodging.
*     Manage linen exchange for staff as needed.
*     Assist with driving for staff trips as requested.
*     Assist with mail pickup and distribution.
*     Deliver meals to staff who are restricted to their rooms.
*     Provide quality control over cleanliness and stocking of staff kitchen.
*     Assist with staff lockouts.
*     Assist Center Services with executing conference setup orders accurately and in a time-sensitive manner as requested.
*     Maintain the cleanliness of meeting room/event spaces and associated restrooms as requested.
*     May be called on to deliver equipment to groups and guests.
*     When staff services responsibilities have been completed, will be assigned to assist in Housekeeping, Laundry, or Center Services, wherever help is most needed.
*     All other duties as assigned. 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
*     Ability to work independently, be self-directed and motivated.  
*     Ability to access and move through all YMCA facilities. This will include walking up and down stairs and getting into and out of vehicles frequently.
*     Possess a valid USA driver’s license, good driving record and be able to operate YMCA vehicles.
*     Ability to multitask and coordinate logistical details.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  
*     Ability to access and move through all YMCA facilities. This will include walking up and down stairs and getting into and out of vehicles frequently.

This is a seasonal position with a base pay rate of $12.32/hour (based on 40 hours/week). This position includes:
