Activities Assistant Director - 2025
Snow Mountain Ranch – Granby, COSalary Range: $15.42 - $15.81
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Activities Director is responsible for supporting the Associate Program Director through staff scheduling, staff supervision and training, and maintenance of facilities and program equipment such as archery, roller skating rink, ice rink in the winter and the summer and winter tubing hills. Additionally, the Assistant Activities Director will spend time in the field leading family-oriented and group programs for members and guests of all ages. This includes sports, archery, outdoor nature activities, mini-golf clubhouse, roller rink, science experiments, climbing wall, games and other family programs. Additionally, this role will assist guests at the program registration desk as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Schedule a staff of 5-20 dependent on season throughout multiple program areas
- Oversee staff evaluations as directed by Associate Program Director
- Help keep first aid kits and cleaning supplies stocked at all facilities
- Training of new staff and leading bi-weekly staff meetings
- Support Associate Program Director with creation of weekly Activity Guide and other administrative needs
- Responsible for independently executing programming activities
- Promote and assist in special event weekends and seasonal programming
- Maintain and repair recreation equipment
- Predict, prevent, identify and respond to safety issues
- Communicate with all guests in a mature, responsible fashion
- Use computer system to assist guests in signing up for activities, check out equipment, and check participant rosters
- Make change and balance cash boxes
- Participate in daily cleaning of program buildings as assigned
- Lead guided hikes or snowshoe hikes dependent on season
- Operate and maintain safety at the ice-skating rink and winter tubing hill in winter
- Operate and maintain safety at the summer tubing hill
- Assist in all Program areas as needed
- All other duties as assigned, including working in other departments
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be fluent in speaking English
- Must possess current Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR/AED certifications
