Staff Housing Cleaning Assist (2025)
Estes Park Center – Estes Park, COSalary Range: $14.42 - $14.81
POSITION SUMMARY:
Staff Housing Cleaning Assist work to ensure that all staff finds their living environment to be welcoming and enjoyable at the YMCA Estes Park Center. This includes assisting the Housing Facilities Manager with a presence in staff housing buildings and maintaining the cleanliness of shared living spaces, kitchens, and bathrooms, and making sure that the supply and linen areas are organized and stocked at all times for the staff. Preparing incoming staff rooms and cleaning rooms after staff departure.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Aid in providing a clean and desirable environment for all.
- Maintain positive, unbiased, and professional relationships with staff and volunteers
- Assist in and ensure the consistent cleanliness of hallways, kitchens, central bathrooms, lobbies, common area windows and doors, stocked storage and linen closets, and the preparation of vacated rooms for future staff arrival.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to the Housing Facilities Manager for follow-up.
- Assist in maintaining the grounds around staff housing, including trash pickup, safe egress, and snow removal on stairs, sidewalks, and decks.
- Follow the team expectations checklist.
- Work with Human Resources software as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
Staff Housing Team Members represent the Human Resources Office. They are expected to behave professionally, dress appropriately for the job and the weather, wear clean and freshly laundered clothes, and wear uniforms if needed. In addition, Staff Housing Team Members must have the following:

- Desire to work with, support, and assist a diverse staff of all ages, nationalities, and backgrounds.
- Possess an unwavering ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Work varied hours and handle frequent interruptions as required by supervisor or staff.
- Bilingual preferred with the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Work responsibly without direct supervision and have strong organizational and time management skills.
- Support the Estes Park Center by assisting in other departments when needed based on business needs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described herein represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to carry 25 pounds up and down stairs, walks, and uneven terrain.
- Able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, bend, and be on feet for long periods.
- Able to use cleaning supplies and chemical cleaners.
